Anxiety and depression are the two most common mental health conditions. In 2015/16 1.4 million people in England were referred to talking therapies for common mental health problems, with West Cheshire the third highest rate for 18-35 year olds.
How can acupuncture help?
Acupuncture releases ”happy”chemicals in the brain called endorphins, which boost mood.
It can also block stress signals allowing the body to rest.
